The Norwegian-Irish artist has expanded on her art-pop sound with this cut, leaning into an atmosphere-heavy sound defined by warm broken piano chords which, along with her haunting vocal, contribute to an ethereal, raw soundscape. “I don’t even remember writing this song,” she explains on the track she completed almost five years ago. “It feels like it appeared to guide me—a gift from a truer version of myself.
